About the Association
The Azerbaijan Arbitration Association is an international non-profit and non-governmental organisation that brings together lawyers from all over the world focusing on alternative dispute resolution, international arbitration, private and public international law in their practice, research and teaching.
The main objectives of the Association are promotion of international arbitration in Azerbaijan and promotion of Azerbaijan as a venue for international arbitration.
Azerbaijan Arbitration Association strives to achieve these objectives by:
Bringing together law firms, practitioners, institutions and other organizations focusing on alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and international arbitration;
Collecting and sharing knowledge about arbitration and alternative dispute resolution;
Organizing seminars, webinars, debates, meetings and conferences in the fields of ADR and international arbitration;
Sharing through the online library of the Association publications by Azerbaijani lawyers in the field of ADR and international arbitration as well as publications of lawyers, regardless of their nationality, on topics that are of interest to ADR and international arbitration in Azerbaijan;
Supporting and coaching Azerbaijani students participating in different Moot court competitions worldwide,;
Enhancing cooperation between Azerbaijan Arbitration Association and arbitration institutions worldwide;
Fostering bonds between Azerbaijan Arbitration Association and similar associations worldwide.
